What's On My Work-Desk? 4/6

Yay! It's hump day and a while since I've taken part in WOYWW. How is everyone today? I've had a pretty busy week so far but I'm feeling pretty happy about having some exciting weekend plans. Craft-wise, I've got a couple of pretty bits and pieces in the pipeline at the moment so thought I'd take the opportunity to show you what I'm working on at the minute.

- Crochet mandala for Yarndale - have you heard about Lucy's project for Yarndale? She's collecting hundreds (maybe thousands) of mandalas to display as a massive piece of crochet art for Yarndale in September. It's going to look amazing and these picture over on her blog give you some idea of how amazing.

- Ribbon and buttons from Habbyworld - I bought these to go on my the Miette I've just finished and a new cardigan I'm planning on making to see me through the World Cup. After completing my first semi-successful knitted Miette in lilac, I'm going to have a go at making a yellow cardi, but I can't decide whether to go for knit or crochet...  Incidentally has anyone else planned out a craft project to see themselves through while their other half watches the footy?

- Cross stitch by Bothy Threads - I love picking this up and doing a wee section. I've been working on all the outlines and lettering recently and it's starting to really take shape. It's been probably the longest-running project I've ever done but it's perfect to pick up and just do a wee bit of when you fancy.

What's on your work-desk at the moment?

  2. I wondered what a miette was so followed your link, so now I know. If your miette is like the one pictured it is gorgeous especially in those pretty lemon and Lilac colours. Love the teapot with a cleavage on your cross stitched peice too. Yay for your crochet mandala for Yarndale will have to take a look . Thank you for visiting me today. I think ATC's are a great idea too perfectly sized for creating a mini work of art in any form and sharing! I have a spare ATC left, and would be happy to send it to you. Just email me your address and I will pop it in the post.

  4. My patchwork is mainly on my craft desk, although I'm halfway through sorting out my craft room at the moment.
