Weekend Link Love 14/6

Hello again everyone. The last week's gone rather quickly, hasn't it? I've had a bit of a funny week of work - lots of trips and fun things going on and not a lot of actual teaching. I'm starting to develop a bit of a strange tan line on my feet where my sandals go from all the time spent outside on playground duty etc. I'm pretty pleased when I can actually get paid to get a tan.

The World Cup started on Saturday and I'm pretty much loving the excuse to spend time in front of the TV working away at a lemon-y coloured Miette cardigan, but more on that later. Does anyone else have a specific World Cup knitting/crochet project on the go?

Today I've also cut out pieces for another couple of summer dresses. One in bright pink and one in the same fabric as my original, ill-fated homemade dress. I've been completely inspired by Me Made May and can't stop dreaming about handmade dresses at the moment.

I found this amazing lapped zip tutorial over at one of my new favourite blogs Scruffy Badger Time. I really didn't 'get' how to insert a zip until I saw this.

Gillian from Tales from a Happy House has just completed this gorgeous spring embroidery hoop. I can't believe her patience; all the blossoms are made from tiny French knots! Isn't it amazing though?

What's caught your eye on the internet recently?
