What's On My Work-Desk? 28/8

Find out what's happening on others' desks here for What's on My Work-Desk Wednesday.

Here it is...

...my not so crafty work space.

With just a few days to go until the beginning of term, crafting is slightly taking a back-seat once again while I frantically prep for the start of school.

I really want to pick up my crochet hook or needle and thread and make something pretty but my brain is just not in it.

I'd love some inspiration for some quick and easy mini-craft projects I can do to keep me going during this busy time...

...do you have any ideas?

  1. Hi Emma - I hope you get to do some more crafting soon. What about running up some fabric flowers with button centres. They make a great embellishment for all manner of projects. There is a tutorial on my You Tube channel. They would make a great project for the kids too. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 27 x

  2. Hope the start of term goes well, a whole new class of children with all that potential within them - could be chaos - but more likely to be wonderful!!
Can't think of anything small - sorry - but have a good few days before it all happens around you.

  4. clearly, your teaching must take priority, but mini cards or ATCs can be made with little time, space or supplies...

  5. Hi Emma, its so good to see a dedicated teacher, I admire you all what a trying task teaching is, well done. But you need to rest for the rush so that's why you're not crafting at present, I'm sure a bit of wool and a hook would soothe the soul go for it...Cheers RobynO32

  8. I agree little works of art such as ATC's can be good or simply doing some coloring of stamped images always works as well as therapy I say. Enjoy your start back at school and your week! Danie #62
